Population
Index - This website provides a searchable and browse-able database
containing 46,035 abstracts of demographic literature published in
Population Index in the period 1986-2000. The website is organized in three
major sections: Home, Browse, Copyright Policy.
Population Index is the primary reference tool to the world's population
literature. It presents an annotated bibliography of recently published
books, journal articles, working papers, and other materials on population
topics.
The Champaign Public Health Online Database - The Public Health Database
collection of demographic information, health statistics, ... The current
indicators available are in the Indicators list.
India Health Stat.com – India(n) health statistics
Indian Health Service - Provides vital event, demographic, social, and
economic statistics on American Indians and Alaska Natives living in IHS
service areas, as well as patient care and morbidity information for those
who use IHS services.

Management-training institute established in 1982 in Bhopal to develop
knowledge useful for managers in the areas of forestry, environment, and
natural resources management and allied sectors. Offers degree programs and

Institute in Bombay which studies demographics issues, offering graduate
level coursework in population sciences and conducts research and training
programs. The site features courses offered, faculty information, background
on research and training programs, and semiannual newsletter (archived since
2000; in PDF format). Lists titles in research monograph series.
UNESCO - Management of Social Transformations (Unknown)
The database contains examples of good and best practices for policies and
projects in Poverty Eradication, Social Exclusion/Integration, Women and

Human Settlements Database Welcome - The database is based on the database
model of the Statistical Division (UNECE/STAT) and maintained by the
Environment and Human Settlements Division, with specific reference to data
on housing and building. Data are collected for the ECE Bulletin of Housing
and Building Statistics and through the Country Profiles on the Housing
Sector from a number of both national and international sources. Provenance
is clearly indicated for each entry.
