  Editorial

There are two articles presented in this bulletin. The first article presents the status of sanitation facility in Haryana. It shows that in many towns the sanitation facility is highly unsatisfactory.  The second article deals with the role of tourism in the development of the state of Sikkim. As usual, we are also informing our readers about the seminars and conferences to be held shortly in the field of population, environment and development.
