Editorial

This issue presents a short article on model village for environment sustainability which is being implemented in some parts of Tamil Nadu. It also presents five tables on size, social composition, workforce and literacy rates among slum population in urban areas at the State and U.T. levels. As usual, the bulletin contains information on various seminars and workshops on environment and development in the forthcoming months.
