Description: This is a joint
programme of the United Nations Development Programme,
International Development Research Centre and Ministry
of Environment and Forests (India). SDNP India is a part
of the Global Capacity 21 Initiative of the UNDP to
foster informed decision- making by countries in
environmental matters. The SDNP India website provides
access to online databases, environmental legislation,
case studies, publications, news clippings and
electronic discussion groups on issues from agriculture
to climate change, to population, health and human
rights. There is also a database of international
organisations working on sustainable development issues.
